Take 3/4 litre of water in a vessel and add into it the required amount of Thoordhal. In another vessel dissolve 60 gms Tomato and extract the juice and throw away the remains. Now add 100 grams of grated vegetables, in the juice and also add 30 grams each of table salt and Ambika Sambar Powder and boil this mixture thoroughly. Now mix this mixture with above prepared Thoordhal and boil together for another 1 minute and keep down the vessel.
Now fry mustard, green chilly and coriander leaves and sprinkle this over the above prepared Sambar. Now you have the delicious ‘Sambar’ just in front of you to taste.
