Best Quality Readymade Ada for Palada Prathaman and ada Prathaman for 3 Ltr. KERALA PALADA PRATHAMAN or 3˝ Ltr. ADA PRATHAMAN.

Wash the contents of this packet with water, drain and soak in one litre boiling water in a covered vessel for 25 Mts. Wash the soaked ‘ADA’ with cold water.

PALADA PRATHAMAN: Boil 3 litres of milk with ˝ of water. Add soaked and washed ‘ada’ while the milk is boiling. Keep stirring till the ‘ada’ is well cooked and becomes very soft to touch. Add 750 gms. of sugar and continue stirring on gentle fire till ‘Palada Prathaman’is reduced to about 3 ltrs and the clour changed from milk white to pink. Remove from fire, stir for abother 15 mts. add 1 spoon of Ghee.

ADA PRATHAMAN: Grate about 4 size coconuts squeeze without adding water and extract 750 ml. milk of coconut - (1st milk). Extract 3 lts of think milk by grinding the residue with luke warm water 2 or 3 times. Cook washed and soaked ‘ada’ in thin milk, prepare jaggery syrup by dissolving 1 kg of jaggery in 500 ml. warm water strain and remove impurities. Add jaggery syrup and continue stirring on a gentle fire till the ‘ada Prathaman’ is reduced to 2.75 lts. Remove from fire. Stir another 15 mts. add ‘1st milk’ properly. Add 8 nos. cardamom power and 1 spoon Ghee.
